Sun Shield

Sun Shield Requires Templar Cast Time Instant Cost Type: Active Surround yourself with solar rays, granting a damage shield equal to [27 / 28 / 29 / 30]% of your Max Health for 6 seconds. Nearby enemies take [567 / 573 / 579 / 586] Magic Damage when the shield is activated, and each enemy hit increases the shield's strength by 4%.

Sun Shield is Templar’s active spell from Aedric Spear school. Templar calls to the help of the sun and activates magic shield that hits all nearby enemies on activation and absorbs incoming damage. Effect can not be applied to an ally, only you can use all benefits of it.

It is great to use this spell for protecting yourself in massive combat. When you are surrounded by enemies the shield will be able to hit many targets upon activation. The spell is great when you need to restore your own health. It gives you time to heal yourself. Though the spell does not last too long very often it will be enough to save your life.

The ability is similar to paladin’s bubble, but unlike bubble Sun Shield does not give you full invulnerability for a definite period. It can absorb a definite percentage of your max health and will be taken down after that. Do not forget that you can not regenerate your Magicka while the shield is active.
