You heal for a percentage of the damage done.
Launch a relentless assault, striking enemies in front of you four times with your Aedric spear. The spear deals [653 / 660 / 668 / 675] Magic Damage to the closest enemy and [278 / 280 / 283 / 287] Magic Damage to all other enemies. The final strike reduces the Movement Speed of the closest enemy by 70% for 2 seconds. You heal for 40% of the damage done with this ability.

Puncturing Sweep is an active ability from Aedric Spear tree of Templar class. Your character performs a series of 4 attacks dealing damage to enemies in fromt of the caster. The ability can be morphed from Puncturing Strikes once you reach 4th rank. It adds new effect: The spell ads new effect: deals damage in a large cone in front of the character.

It is not an easy choice what spell to choose when you morph Puncturing Strikes. Both abilities: Puncturing Sweep and Biting Jabs are offering great bonuses but act differently. Puncturing Sweep is better to use against big group of targets while Biting Jabs is aimed to deal extra damage to only one enemy.
